Climate decision makers from all over the world meet yearly at the United Nations’ “Conference of Parties” (COP). In this talk, learn about COP 26, held in Glasgow Scotland in 2021, and COP 27, held in Sharm el Sheikh Egypt in 2022, from a Lehigh student who attended both conferences, as well as what to expect from the upcoming COP 28. You will get an insider perspective into the Climate Change conference process, learn where innovations can be found, and gain insights into the future of climate change remediation. Spencer Smith is a Masters candidate in Environmental Engineering in the P. C. Rossin College of Engineering and Applied Sciences. He has presented his work at the 2022 and 2023 American Chemical Society National Meetings, written for ACS Omega, and lectured for York College of Pennsylvania, East Stroudsburg University, and Kutztown University
